Dr Kai-hung Fung is a Hong Kong hospital radiologist, and winner of the 5th annual International Science and Engineering Visualization Challenge. An expert with CT and MRI scanners, Dr Fung is currently working with Hong Kong based nature photographer Gary Yeoh. Together they have produced these amazing psychedelic images revealing the beauty of the hidden spaces and structures inside our bodies.
“My ‘Rainbow Technique’ represents contour lines to define 3D spaces in the form of a colourful rainbow. Similar to Pointillism, this vitalize the artwork, transforming it into one that sparkle with colours. It is only made possible with modern computer technology.”
