Mai El Shoush, creator of ‘Drawn’
Sudanese journalist Mai El Shoush was sent to cover a comics expo in Dubai. She got so fed up with the boob job barbies in the western comic books, she decided to create her own super-heroine! In ‘Drawn’, super-heroine Rayann gets her mystical powers from a mysterious magical henna tattoo. Cool!
